Riding around Baldwin, New York, in the dark, without a light, on my "10 speed," going where I thought no one else had ever gone. Almost six decades later, I ride in support of the San Francisco Aids Foundation. This year is the sixth time I have ridden for AIDS Lifecycle. On June 2, 2013, ALC/12 leaves from the San Francisco Cow Palace and on June 8 we arrive in Los Angeles, 545 miles later. This blog is an occasional journal of these experiences. In 2012 more than 2200 riders raised over $13,000,000. This provides services for those afflicted with AIDS/HIV as well as supporting education and awareness efforts in our communities. You can read about the ride here. I welcome your support for this cause. Click here and donate now!
